As politicians are gearing up for the 2023 general election, the Senator representing Abia-South Senatorial District of Abia and the Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, had called the ruling part, All Progressives Congress, (APC) a dead party and urged Nigerians not to go back to a dead party.
Abaribe cautioned politicians against moving to the APC, saying the party is largely responsible for the challenges facing the country today.
He said this in Abuja yesterday while addressing the PDP 93rd National Executive Committee, NEC meeting, which had in attendance all elected PDP Governors, members of the Board of Trustees, BoT, and national caucus.
Abaribe said defecting to APC makes no sense saying the party has failed to curtail insecurity across the country as bandits and terrorists are having field day without let or hindrance.
