A Yaba Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, presided over by Adeola Adedayo, has remanded the suspected murderer of Usifo Ataga, the late CEO of Super TV, Chidinma Ojukwu, in prison for 30 days.
The Lagos State Police Command arraigned Chidinma alongside two other suspects on monday.
The Magistrate, in her ruling said that she should be remanded in prison for 30 days, pending legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).
Chidinma a 300 level Mass Communication student of the Lagos State University was arrested in connection with the murder of Ataga who was stabbed to death inside a Lagos service apartment in Lekki on June 15th 2021.
Chidinma when arrested confessed to stabbing Ataga twice on the neck because he tried to forcefully have sex ith her later recanted and said she went to buy food and when she returned, she found him dead already.
More suspects were later announced to have been arrested by the Police.
