DSS NOT INVOLVED IN MY SUDDEN ‘DISAPPEARANCE’ – MBAKA

Father Ejike Mbaka said that the Department for State Services (DSS) was not involved in his supposed disappearance.

Mbaka’s supporters went on a rampage in Enugu on Wednesday in protest, thinking he may have been arrested by the Department for State Services (DSS) for his recent criticisms of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mbaka said: “I thank God you have never attacked the wrong people,”

“The DSS was not involved in what happened. But the Bishop gave an order that I should not come here from today. I should leave Adoration House, Parish house, that there will be no programme here for 30 days and I should stay silent for 30 days.”

Mbaka supported and campaigned for Buhari during the run up to the 2015 general election and also supported him for a second term.

He criticized the President recently by calling him a failure and blaming him for the mounting security challenges in the country. He even asked him to resign and if he fails to, that the National Assembly should impeach him.

He told his bewildered congregation: “How can people be dying and the chief security officer of the country would be sitting down without making any comment. Gunmen attacking people everywhere.

“Buhari should have resigned honourably following his failure as a leader.”
