Argentine and PSG player and the currently the best player in the world, Lionel Messi had said that winning his 7th Ballon d’Or would be nice, but that it is nor the most important thing to him.
According to the 6-time Ballon D’or winner, the biggest prize was what he achieved with the national team and not individual awards.
He said: “The truth is, I don’t think about it. The biggest prize was what I achieved with the national team. We fought so hard for that, that was the ultimate goal. A 7th Ballon d’Or would be nice, but if I don’t win, it wouldn’t bother me. There are lots of great players.”
