NIGERIA RECORDS 97 NEW CASES OF COVID-19, FIVE DEATHS

In Nigeria, nobody died for six out of the past nine days from Covid-19. But yesterday, five people died from the infectious disease, raising the total fatalities in the country to 2,036.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) published this on Thursday night.

The country recorded 97 new cases under 24-hours, one of the lowest daily figures this year. This new figure raised the total number of infections in the West African nation to 162,275.
