Veteran Nollywood actor, Chiwetala Agu, who was picked up on Thursday by men of the Nigerian Army who later released him and he was later picked up by men of the Department of State Services (DSS) is still in DSS custody.
Spokesperson of the Service, Dr Peter Afunanya, who confirmed the arrest.
The veteran was arrested at Upper-Iweka, Onitsha, Anambra State while adorning an outfit with the rising sun, an outfit with the colours of the Biafran flag, sharing bread to people.
Onyema Nwachukwu, Military Spokesperson, had said in a statement that Agu was picked up for questioning while inciting members of the public to join the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) which had been proscribed by the Federal Government, an accusation Agu denied as he insisted that he was just sharing bread to the people in a video where he was been led to the Army office that went viral.
