SAD NEWS: LADY DIES IN A HOTEL IN FESTAC WHERE SHE LODGED WITH HER BOYFRIEND

A lady died after lodging with her boyfriend, identified as Emmanuel Isibor, at the T1 Suites in the Festac area of the Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State.

The lady who was just  identified as Esther, visited the hotel with her lover to spend the night with him. As at the time this information was gotten, the necessary details and particulars of the deceased has not been gotten.

The deceased boyfriend, Emmanuel Isibor narrated that while in the room, she suddenly took ill and in the process, foamy substances started coming out from her mouth and nostrils.

Jolted by the turn of events, he immediately sought help by calling the manager of the hotel to help rescue his girlfriend and she was rushed to a nearby hospital, but sadly, she died on the way.

It was gathered that the doctor on duty at the hospital certified that Esther was brought in dead. and the manager of the hotel proceeded to the Festac Police Station to report the incident.

According to available reports, it was stated that, “What happened on May 31, 2021 was that around 11.30pm, the manager of T1 Suites, Obijomi Adedeji, reported that one of the lodgers, Emmanuel Isibor, came with his girlfriend, Esther.

“But around 11pm, Emmanuel Isibor called on the manager for assistance as the lady developed a sudden ailment, which caused foamy substances to come out from her mouth and nostrils.

“She was rushed to the First Line Hospital, where a doctor pronounced her dead.”

When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said, “Yes, the case was reported to us and we are still investigating it.”

At the moment, the cause of death has not been ascertained.
