Bandits were repelled by soldiers in the early hours of Monday as they attacked Faith Academy, a secondary school owned by Living Faith Church Worldwide, founded by Bishop David Oyedpo.
The gunmen had launched coordinated attacks on both Faith Academy and Bethel Baptish Secondary School in the early hours of Monday. Both schools are not far from each other.
The bandits failed to gain entrance into Faith Academy while they succeeded in abducting students at Bethel School.
The attackers gain access into the school premises of Faith Academy through the back fence around 1am but were repelled by soldiers, with assistance from the school security team.
