The General manager/ Commandant of Traffic and Indiscipline Management Agency of Abia State (TIMAAS), Chief Bright Ikeokwu has assured of his readiness to identify with youth base organizations in the State for a better, peaceful and crime free society, describing the youths as the engine room of any progressive nation, warning that any society that fails to positively position their youths would only be sitting on a keg of gunpowder.
The TIMAAS boss made the remarks when he played host to the Executive Members of Isiala Ngwa North Chapter of the National Youth council of Nigeria (NYCN), who paid him a courtesy visit in his office, equally charged them to refrain from crime and and all forms of criminality and banditry, and promised to employ more young people in his agency and revealed that with the approval of the State Governor, plans are on top gear to employ and deploy more staff of the agency to all the local government Areas of the State.
Chief Ikeokwu, popularly known as Osama promised to honor the invitation to attend their proposed youth Security Summit scheduled to hold in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Secretariat on the 25th of August, and pledged to make available seed fund for ten people that will pass through their proposed Skill Acquisition Programme billed to take off soon, and reaffirmed his willingness to always stand by them in all their programs and initiatives and wished the newly Executive officers well in their discharge of their duties.

Comrade Cosmos Okezie Nwankpa told the General Manager that they came on a familiarization visit following their election and inauguration into office, describing him as a major and critical stake holder from Isiala Ngwa North, while using the occasion to formally invite him as a key note speaker to their Youth Security Summit scheduled to hold at the council Secretariat on the 25th of August 2021, and commended the efforts of the General Manager in restoring sanity, discipline and orderliness in parts of our roads which hitherto were marked as red spots and urged him not to be deterred and distracted the enemies of the State who were reaping from the old order, and pledged their support and loyalty to Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu’s administration, and pleaded for his assistance in their proposed training of one hundred youths in various skill, as their little way to help reduce youth restiveness.
Highpoint of the visit was the presentation of an award of honor to Chief Bright Ikeokwu as ‘YOUTH MENTOR’ by the Isiala Ngwa North Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria.
The event was witnessed by the admin staff of the agency, a Special Adviser to the Executive Chairman of Isiala Ngwa North, Hon. Onwere Nmesirionye, Hon Godwin Okeagu among others.
