Three Policemen on patrol were shot dead by unknown gunmen in Onitsha, Anambra State.
The officer’s patrol vehicle was also set ablaze.
The incident happened around Ukaegbu /Ezeiweka road in Onitsha when they were attacked around 09:00 am on Sunday.
Also, two civilians sustained gunshot wounds from stray bullet during the attack.
Some residents say the unknown gunmen are angered by the way the Policemen extort motorists.
